We think

Dona Louise is a great introduction to the wines of Quinta de Lemos, at a fraction of the price of their more expensive bottles. The quality here remains high, with beautiful ripe fruit flavours, firm structure and long finish. This wine is outstanding value for money.

  6. James Paul

    Smells fruity, very nice.

  7. Deac Rossell

Full bodied, robust and strong. Good balance, long aftertaste. Hard hit of fruit.

  8. James Hodges

Tyre – rubber taste…Quite like it though!

  9. Marian Cleary

Not mad about it. Nice on back of the throat, but not so much on tongue.

  10. Teresa Wolowiec

Massively interesting odd. I’d resell it as an apperatif in 375ml bottles and charge double.

  11. Alistair Ayres

    Great wine for red meat.

  12. Claire Ayres

Tastes younger than it smells and looks. Has a sharpness to it – needs to be paired with food.

  13. Stephen Porter

    Textured and sharp.

  14. Chevon Porter

    Love!

  15. Ed Bratton

    Very nice red.

  16. James

Lovely dry and rather complex red. Dark fruits on the nose plus pepper maybe some herbal elements to taste. Opened up so would advise decanting. Excellent value from Drink Portuguese Wines!!

  17. Carolina Gaspari

Strong, dark red wine. Fruity with a little bit of a hint of wood.

  18. James Clark

    Dark and delicious

  19. Gary Raisbeck

Absolutely delicious. Well rounded, gentle finish and so cheap!!!
