We think

This wine is a celebration of the wonderful Portuguese grape variety Jaen. The colour is a deep burgundy and there are delicate oak fragrances to the nose. On taste the wine is exquisitely elegant and warming. As with all the wines produced by the Quinta de Lemos there is no compromise on quality, this is a truly exceptional wine.

This wine is absolutely outstanding! I think it’s my new favourite!

  2. Pat

Yes, yes and thrice yes! Treat yourself to this. A heady aroma which promises much and then delivers. Berries on the nose and so much currant and red fruit on the palate that it should be one of your five a day. Really smooth drinking. Well balanced with a slightly dry finish.

This would be five stars at full price. At this sale price you’re almost stealing it. A terrific wine, beautifully made.

  3. Gary Raisbeck

Particularly winey. Would drink without a gun to the head!
