We think
Quinta do Crasto LBV has a beautiful texture and depth of flavour. Red fruit sweetness is well balanced and persistent. This is a fine drop! Decanting is recommended.
Experts say
92 Points Mark Squires erobertparker.com “It is a fine achievement in general and in the vintage”
2010 vintage has just won the Gold Regional Trophy at Decanter WWA 2015 and will be on sale with us soon – “This is markedly firm and tense, with pepper, blackberry, plums, raisins and liquorice on the nose, then complementing aromas of seaweed, iodine and roasted coffee. Big and bold in stature, there’s an opulent, liquorice-like sweetness to the palate, joined by flavours of black tea and chocolate. Huge, but classy and cultured.”
