Please read these terms and conditions before making any purchases through the Drink Portuguese Wine site.

Within this terms any references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ refer to ‘Drink Portuguese Wine’, a VAT registered business reference GB193585957, whose registered office is located at 44 Forest Road, London, E17 6JR, United Kingdom.

Our contract

Our contract is formed when any order placed through our site is dispatched. Until such a time that an order is dispatched we reserve the right to cancel an order. In the case that we cancel an order we will refund any payments made.

By ordering any alcoholic beverage through the Drink Portuguese Wine website you are confirming that you are aged 18 or above. It is illegal in the UK to attempt to buy alcoholic drinks under the age of 18.

By entering credit or debit card information on the Drink Portuguese Wine website site you are confirming that the card is your own or that you have the permission from the owner of the card to use it for the purchase.

Our prices

Unless stated otherwise, all prices displayed on the Drink Portuguese Wine website include UK duty and VAT. The delivery of our products incurs an additional charge unless we indicate that delivery charges are included with a specific purchase.

We reserve the right to adjust our prices at any time.

Any special offers or discount vouchers must be used within the dates specified. Drink Portuguese Wine reserve the right to cancel any special offers at any time. Any discounted rates cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers unless stated otherwise.

Delivery

There is a £65 minimum spend for courier delivery.

We only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. Delivery of our products will normally be within 48 hours. Bank holidays and non-working days may delay our deliveries. Drink Portuguese Wine reserve the right to refuse deliveries to specific addresses.

Orders within selected London postcodes (currently E17 and N22) will be delivered free of charge.

In the case that goods are damaged or go missing in the delivery process, we will replace the goods or we will arrange for a refund.

Deterioration of the products

Wine is a natural product and at times it will deteriorate. Cork taint is the most common cause of the deterioration of wine and we will replace or refund any wine that has deteriorated by cork taint or oxidation. If you find that your wine has deteriorated, inform us and we will arrange for a replacement. Ensure that you keep the bottle of wine for a further week in order that we can confirm the quality of the wine. If you have not heard from us within 1 week you can dispose of the wine.

Our guarantee of satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with the products that you receive please contact us and we will arrange for the replacement or the refund of the product. We reserve the right to assess all issues raised on an individual basis and we may not refund payments if we believe that the characteristics raised in the complaint were intended in the manufacture of the product or if they were likely to be caused by interference with the product or by poor storage of the product.

If you have any un-opened bottles of wine that you would like to return we will arrange for them to be replaced or we will arrange for their collection and a refund.

Unless you indicate otherwise we will never give your details to a third party unless it is to assist with fulfilling your order.
